In celebration of the milestone 30th anniversary of City University of Hong Kong ("CityUHK") in 2024 since achieving university status, supporters and alumni of the University are cordially invited to make a meaningful gift via the "CityUHK Endowment Campaign", the first-ever University-wide endowment campaign that will reinforce the strong foundation for a promising future for CityUHK and the next generations.
The gifts will make a lasting impact, providing the University with sustainable resources for exploring new possibilities and scaling greater heights in multiple realms.
An annual income will be generated from endowment funds at a rational interest rate guaranteed by the University, which will be used in line with the intent of donors.
Supporters are welcome to make non-designated donations, providing the University with the greatest flexibility in responding promptly to, for example, its strategic priorities or general development. On the other hand, supporters can designate the areas of support, for example, research or student development.
When a donation reaches a designated amount, naming for an individual endowment fund or other acknowledgement arrangements may be offered. This also allows donors to create a lasting legacy at the University by dedicating funds to a specific purpose, which also enable them to pay tribute to loved ones or celebrate their personal bond with the University.
Just as you were supported yesterday, you can support the students of tomorrow. Donations to this fund help sustain the University's ability to provide a transformative educational experience for the alumni community's younger counterparts.
In addition to making immediate donations, you are welcome to designate CityUHK as a beneficiary of your legacy via a bequest or an insurance policy to support the CityUHK Endowment Campaign.
